Rainy Days 2010
Rainy Days are here again! After such a huge success last year in Elizabeth Street, we've decided to do it all over again for those of you who missed out and for those of you who are keen to go again!
The format of the show is the same as last year, any person may apply to be included in the show. Entry is $15 including your kit (a lovely chunky, primed plywood board, 10 x 10cm, wired and ready to hang) on which you are free to create a piece with no limits on subject or medium. Extra kits are $5 each up to a maximum of 3 in total, per artist. The artist can decide the sale price of the work and of that, the artist keeps 70% and the gallery keeps 30%.
Here are some important Rainy Days for your diary:
Registration Deadline: 30th June
Deadline for receiving artwork: 9th July
Opening Night 14th July
Closing Date 27th July
And, best of all, for all you jewellers, Rebecca Roth is holding 'A Winter's Ring' exhibition to coincide with' Rainy Days.' The concept is the same, except you are able to create a ring, there are no limits on design or medium.
Or, if you're like me and can't decide, enter both!
til very soon,
Jemima
